There is light
there is creation
there is life
but were is god?
1.
Every light
burns out
Evry man
Is going down when you decide
Speechless totem of desire
rules quietly in darkness
Be the one that makes it suffer
to rule your inner world
Life
Inhale it
Life
Destroy it
Madness driving
Inner god
Sucking blood with every thought
Madness driving
Inner self
Tries to kill every man
2.
Lost in time
when you act
Lost in words
when you sense my only fear
Secret image will never end
and invades all my moves
Be the only one who knows
and stand like you're reborn
life
inhale it
life
destroy it
madness driving
inner god
sucking blood with every thought
madness driving
inner self
tries to kill every man
Really good heavy shit! Two dudes! Super straightforward no bullshit heavy and cool. Bassless, but not without merit. Guitar is massively thudge. Sick man! Jono Schneider
This album is utterly and completely fantastic. Just mind-blowing heavy psych. A shame that this band folded after this album, because it’s just so, so good. Yet another Ripple release that gets played regularly. Kirk Gauthier
As we prepare ourselves spiritually, physically, and mentally for Sunnata’s upcoming Chasing Shadows, it is as good a time as any to reflect upon the band’s incredible discography, which stands as one of the finest in all of sludge/ stoner, and even (modern) doom for that matter. Zorya is probably Sunnata’s heaviest album and though it is a smidgen less dynamic than Outlands, it is the best entry point for new listeners who want to know what’s what. Perfect soundtrack for steamrolling your foes. Ippocalyptica
